I wanted to say something interesting about how profoundly lacking we are of a Dali-like, eccentric, life-as-art, genius-superstar presence in the world today. But as I don’t know much at all about the art world, I’ll just echo popular sentiment and conclude that Damien Hirst is a cunt. I think I’ll spend this evening flicking through my books on Dali, recalling a time when businessmen were businessmen, artists were artists, and motherfucking tigers pounced out of fish that burst out of pomegranates and went RAWR and coughed up more tigers.
